In 2021, I had the biggest pleasure I could possibly imagine to be the animation supervisor of the archival team on Richard Linklater's newest animated feature 'Apollo 10 1/2' at the Submarine animation studio.
On the archival team, we were in charge of creating styleframes, backgrounds, animation and VFX animation for all the archival material, both still and moving, making the footage come to life in the unique visual language of the film, yet letting the original, beautiful nature and feel of old footage come through.
